Sunday observance developed gradually in later church history, but no New Testament passage records Christ or the apostles commanding believers to transfer worship to the first day. Choosing to keep the seventh-day Sabbath is, for many believers, less about calendar precision and more about honoring what Scripture actually establishes rather than what later tradition assumed, while still respecting fellow believers who gather on Sunday out of sincere conviction.
