Biblical explanation
Genesis says: "And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living." Genesis 3:20 Later: "And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth." Genesis 4:25 Genesis 5:4 adds: "And he begat sons and daughters." Cain's wife therefore came from the expanding human family descended from Adam and Eve. Genesis does not record every birth individually. Cain's wife is never named. The Bible does not name Cain's wife or provide a detailed genealogy identifying her. It does establish Adam and Eve as the parents of humanity and later says Adam had "sons and daughters."
Key takeaway
Discipleship applies the gospel to the whole life: body, mind, relationships, work, finances, and worship. Healthy choices and faithful habits do not earn salvation; they are grateful stewardship of the life God has entrusted to us and practical ways to serve others.
