God's law reveals His character, shows what love for God and others looks like, and helps us recognize sin. We are not saved by keeping the law; we obey because God's grace has already reached us.
The law of God is a gracious expression of His holy and loving character. It points out sin, gives a trustworthy standard for right and wrong, and teaches believers how to love God and their neighbors in practical ways. The law cannot justify sinners or replace faith in Christ, but grace does not make obedience meaningless. Through the Spirit, believers learn to delight in God's instruction and live it out as a response of gratitude.
Salvation is entirely by grace through faith in Christ. His atoning sacrifice, heavenly ministry, and intercession are the foundation of assurance; obedience, Sabbath faithfulness, and loving service are the fruit of a redeemed life, never a way to purchase acceptance with God.
