Biblical explanation
Revelation 16 describes the gathering of the kings of the earth (verses 13-16). Revelation 19 gives the next major scene. Heaven opens and Christ appears as the Rider on the white horse: "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." Revelation 19:16, KJV The beast and false prophet are defeated (Revelation 19:20). The chapter portrays Christ's victory over the forces gathered against Him. Revelation does not present Armageddon as a battle in which God's victory is uncertain. The outcome is already determined by Christ's authority. The focus is therefore not on predicting military movements but on recognizing the final conflict over worship, allegiance, and the authority of God.
