The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Salvation is God's gift, received by faith, and it leads to a transformed life of love, obedience, and hope in Christ's soon return.
The gospel announces both a finished work and an ongoing one. Christ's death satisfied the penalty of sin so that no one needs to earn forgiveness, and His resurrection guarantees victory over death for everyone who trusts Him. At the same time, receiving the gospel is not the end of the story: the same grace that saves also transforms, producing a growing love for God and others, a desire to obey out of gratitude rather than fear, and a settled hope that looks forward to the day Christ returns to finish what He started.
Salvation is entirely by grace through faith in Christ. His atoning sacrifice, heavenly ministry, and intercession are the foundation of assurance; obedience, Sabbath faithfulness, and loving service are the fruit of a redeemed life, never a way to purchase acceptance with God.
